I knit only cardigans for myslef but I made an exception for this one!. It was a love at first sight: clean line, asymmetric bottom, STst and garter, little pocket, buttons and neutral color! When I received a pattern from Suvi I was delighted!
Wzór to 5200K autorstwa Suvi Simoli. Już myślę o wariacjach na jego temat, bo jest przepięknie dopasowany. Mimo cienkiej włóczki, praca nad nim trwała niecałe 2 tygodnie i dziś miałam okazję go wypróbować.
The pattern is 5200K by Suvi Simola. I'm already thinking about the its variations because it gives a great fit. Even though my yarn was thin I knitted the pullover in less than 2 weeks. Today I had the opportunity to wear it.
I had the yarn in my stash for 3 years. It's Zettl Sockenwolle Treviso a.k.a. Lidl sock yarn. I didn't plan to buy it but the price was good. Unfortunately I can't tell it about its quality. It's not a superwash yarn although it's proportions are typical for sock yarn. It felts quite easy so I soaked my pullover in not lukewarm but cold water and used Eucalan. Garment became softer and lighter. Treviso is a bit rough when you working with it. It has rustic look because it’s not evenly spun and I've found some grass bits in it.
Na cały sweter zużyłam 4 motki, czyli 200 g. Guziczki z masy perłowej miałam w szufladzie. Nie dość, że mam teraz fajny pulowerek, to koszt prawie żaden! Hurra!
I used 4 skeins- 200 gramms of yarn to knit 5200K and mother of peral buttons which were in my drawer. Not only I'v egot a very wearable and beautiful knit but the cost of materials was small. Hooray!
